Music

The first aria for tenor and violin virtuoso is " of emphatic vehemence of expression ," the word being ", Break " emphasized by frantic violin runs. John Eliot Gardiner compares the arias with the Baroque revenge arias of Italian operas. The following recitative is in stark contrast out that the goodness of God is new every day, but then goes into the despair in the face of human failure. The second aria is sung by bass, underlined by the trumpet. The instrument retrieves the Last Judgement, which is mentioned at the end of the epistle. The last recitative turns to the idea that God looks at His elect. The final chorale is a simple four-part set.
