Flag of Nicaragua

The flag of Nicaragua almost corresponds to the original 1823 made ​​by the Central American Federation flag, which in turn is based on the flag of Argentina. Historical flags of Nicaragua

The flag of Nicaragua's history began on August 21, 1823 with the introduction of the flag of the Central American Confederation. The following years were marked by constant in Nicaragua revolutionary unrest, which lasted practically until the end of the 19th century.
