Flag of Panama

This flag of Panama since the state was founded on 3 November 1903, the national flag of Panama, but originally in another division fields. On June 4, 1904, the present version has been confirmed as the official state flag. By the frequent registration of vessels in Panama flag is often seen in ports.

Importance

White stands for peace, blue for the Conservatives and red for the Liberals. The two stars represent the two political parties.

History

The first proposal for a Panamanian flag came from the Frenchman Philippe Bunau - Varilla -Jean.
