Homestead is a city in Miami -Dade County in the U.S. state of Florida with 60 512 inhabitants ( 2010).

Geography

Homestead is located approximately 35 km southwest of Miami, bordering the City Florida City.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census, the then 60 512 inhabitants distributed in 23 419 households. The population density was 1,626.7 inh. / Km ². 66.9 % of the population were white, 20.4% African American, 0.4% Native American and 1.2% Asian Americans. 7.4% were members of other ethnic groups and 3.8% in different ethnic groups. 62.9 % of the population were Hispanic or Latino.
