IAAF World Combined Events Challenge

The IAAF World Combined Events Challenge is an international rating series in the all around, which is organized since 1998 by the International Association of Athletics Federations ( IAAF).

Men compete in the decathlon, women's heptathlon. In the course of a season, athletes collect their points at certain meetings and all-around championships and bring their three best individual results in the overall standings. Among the eight most successful men and women prize money totaling 202,000 U.S. dollars will be distributed. Of them would receive the overall winner and the overall winner of each $ 30,000. The most successful participants in total, each with four first places are the Czech Roman Šebrle and the Swede Carolina Kluft.
