Jacky Ickx

Jacques Bernard " Jacky " Ickx ( born January 1, 1945 in Brussels ) is a former Belgian Formula 1 and sports car racing driver.

He is considered the most successful all-round racing driver, as he took in a wide variety of motorsport disciplines in his 30 -year-old playing days and was able to win victories.

Career

Jacky Ickx is the son of the Belgian motoring journalists Jacques Ickx. His entry into the motorsport made ​​Ickx motorcycle racing, which he was in 1963 with a Zündapp Belgian trial champion.

In 1966, he rose from the motorcycle over to racing cars and was immediately able to achieve some victories in endurance racing.
