The Formula 1 1974 season was the 25th FIA Formula 1 World Championship. She was discharged through 15 races in the period from 13 January to 6 October. Emerson Fittipaldi won for the second time, the drivers' world championship. McLaren was first Constructors' world champions.

The FIA honorary title of European Grand Prix was awarded in 1974 at the Grand Prix of Germany.

Drivers' championship

The first six places were 9, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1 points. The best seven results of the first eight and the best six of the remaining seven races belonged to the championship.
