Jeff Giuliano
Jeffrey Joseph Giuliano ( born June 20, 1979 in Nashua, New Hampshire ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since 2009 in the Iserlohn Roosters in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract. He is married and has two children.
Career
Jeff Giuliano began his career in Hockey childhood and already celebrated in the school team first successes. In 1997 and 1998 he was awarded among others as Most Valuable Player of the St. Paul 's School in the Independent School League. After finishing school, he attended Boston College, where he also became a member of the hockey team. 1999 and 2001 he was elected to the All- Star team Hockey East Division, 2001, he won with his team the NCAA Championship. In his final year at the university he took over the captaincy.
The first professional season played Giuliano half at the Reading Royals in the East Coast Hockey League. At the same time he found entry into the organization of the Los Angeles Kings and signed a contract with the AHL farm team Manchester Monarchs. In November 2005, the striker made the jump to the NHL team the Kings and finished the season a total of 48 games for Los Angeles. The end of October of the following year endowed him the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga with a one-month trial contract from. In his second game Giuliano received a one Spieldauerdisziplinarstarfe, so he up to half of the month was only able to play two games for the Iserlohn in combination with the international break. In the following five games, he finally found the bond to the team and posted in the game against the Augsburger Panther his first goal and an assist. Even with commitment and struggle he provided further arguments for a new contract, which the fans honored and celebrated him after the game. On 30 November 2009 the Roosters extended the contract with the Americans until the end of the season. With Daniel Sparre and Brian Swanson in a row put the defensive striker also offensive accents.
