Křelovice (Pelhřimov District)

Křelovice ( German Krelowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north of Cervena Řečice and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Křelovice located in the southwest of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands on a ridge between the valleys of Trnavka and Želivka. Southwest of the jezírko ( 525 m) and in the Pacific Northwest Na Pískách (540 m ) and V Suchých collected ( 565 m). The village is situated at the junction of the road between I/112 Čechtice and Cervena Řečice with the I/129 Pacov to Humpolec where both branches off the road to the motorway I/130 D 1 at Koberovice.

Neighboring towns are Jiřičky and Číhovice in the north, Nečice and Boroviny the northwest, Poříčí and Želiv in the West, Temechov the southwest, Cervena Řečice and Cerveny Mlyn in the south, Arneštovický Mlýn, Rovná and Hořepník the southwest, Arneštovice in the west and Košetice in the northwest.

History

During the 11th century, the settlement of the area took place. 1144 left Vladislav II large estates in the Bohemian- Moravian border to the Prague bishop Otto. These were divided a little later after the founding of the monastery Seelau. Křelovice remained with the episcopal rule Řečice and was first mentioned in 1379 as part of their writing. With 24 Huben and 40 economies Křelovice was at this time after Řečice the second largest settlement of the rule. 1454, the village was divided. Owner of the share Řečicer were the lords of Straz, the Pilgramser share acquired Nicholas Trček of Lipa. Vladislav II donated the property in 1456 to Prokop Vojslavský of Vojslavice, the Křelovice and Jiřičky held for three years.

After the replacement of patrimonial Křelovice formed in 1850 with Jiřičky and Boroviny a municipality in the district team Pelhřimov. In 1974 and 1975 Číhovice Poříčí, which had previously belonged to Bolechov, incorporated.

The municipality consists of the villages Křelovice Číhovice ( Tschihowitz ) Jiřičky ( Jischitschek ) Křelovice ( Krelowitz ) and Poříčí ( Porschitz ) and the settlement Boroviny ( Borowini ).
