Křešín (Pelhřimov District)

Křešín ( German Kreschin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers north of Pacov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Křešín located in the southwest of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands at the confluence of Mohelnice in the Martinický Potok ( Goldbach ). To the south, the rise Holý vrch (703 m) and Strážiště (744 m).

Neighboring towns are Lipkov, Sudislavice and Malá Paseka in the north, Růžkovy Lhotice and Čeněnice in the northeast, Chýstovice and Jedlina in the east, Blažnov and Zelenkův Mlýn in the southeast, Tříznicko, Stary Smrdov and Skočidolovice in the south, Beránkův Mlýn, Šavrdův Mlýn and Lukavec in the southwest, Štědrovice in the west and Čáslavsko and Mohelnice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the festivals Křešín took place in 1318 as the property of Hroznata of Křešín. Proven since 1350 in a school in Křešín. Until the 15th century the owners changed frequently, several of which lay the predicate of Křešín to. In 1500 Křešín was connected to the power carts mountain. 1534 were named as owners Johanna and Regina from Otradovice. After several inheritances among owners of carts mountain Křešín again became an independent asset that Smil Lukavecký part of Lukavec. This built a new festivals to the farm. This became extinct in the 17th century entirely. During the Thirty Years' War in 1620 imperial troops invaded Křešín and harassed the residents.

After the replacement of patrimonial Křešín formed in 1850 with the districts Bláznov, Čeněnice and Mohelnice a municipality in the district team Ledetsch. Seat of the District Court was Dolni Kralovice little later. From 1949 belonged to Křešín Okres Pacov. After the dissolution of the congregation was founded in 1961 associated with the Okres Pelhřimov and at the same time, umgemeindet Kramolín, which had previously belonged to Buřenice to Křešín. Attractions

  • St. Bartholomew's Church with cemetery in the village square of Křešín, the church has been detected in 1350 as a parish church.
