Kyle Brodziak

Kyle Brodziak ( born May 25, 1984 in St. Paul, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2009 with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Kyle Brodziak began his career as a hockey player with the Moose Jaw Warriors, for which he was active from 2000 to 2004 a total of four years in the Western Hockey League. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round in 2003 when a total of 214 players from the Edmonton Oilers. In his last WHL year he was also elected to the All- Star team in the league. Before the season 2004/ 05 Brodziak, was appointed to the cadre of the farm teams of the Oilers, the Edmonton Road Runners, for which he played the entire season in the American Hockey League, as the season of the National Hockey League was eventually canceled due to the lockout.

While Brodziak in the following two seasons mainly played for each of the AHL farm team of the Oilers, the Iowa Stars and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, he stood between 2007 and 2009 exclusively on the NHL team the Oilers. As part of the NHL Entry Draft 2009 he was transferred to the Minnesota Wild.
