Lac du Vieux Emosson

The Lac du Vieux emosson is located in the Canton of Valais in the community Finhaut.

You can reach the dam over 300 meters below the Lac d' emosson or on foot from France via the Col des Corbeaux mule track.

On August 23, 1976 well-preserved footprints were discovered by archosaurs that lived 250 million years ago. These traces can be seen in the summer after the snow melts.
