Mae Rim District

Amphoe Mae Rim ( in Thai: อำเภอ แม่ริม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the central part of the province of Chiang Mai. The Chiang Mai province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Mae Taeng the San Sai, Mueang Chiang Mai, Hang Dong and Samoeng the province of Chiang Mai.

Management

The circle is divided into eleven subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 91 villages ( Muban ).

Mae Rim has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and covers parts of the tambon Mae Rim Tai and Sa

In addition, there are ten " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
