Märkische Höhe

Märkische height is a municipality in the district office belonging to Mark- Or land in Brandenburg ( Germany ). The community was only on 31 December 2001 by the merger of the municipalities Batzlow, Reichenberg and Ringenwalde. It is administered by the Office Neuhardenberg.

Geography

Geographical Location

The municipality is situated on the northern edge of the Park märkische Switzerland, between Seelow and bathroom Freiwalde / Oder. In the south the designated as a nature reserve Stobbertal completes the municipality. It is bordered to the north by the municipalities Reichenow- Möglin and Bliesdorf (Official Barnim Oder ), to the east by the municipality Neuhardenberg (Official Neuhardenberg ), to the south by the official free city Muencheberg and the official nationals city Buckow ( Märkische Switzerland ) as well as the community Oberbarnim (both official märkische Switzerland ).

History

The municipality was created on 31 December 2001 through the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Batzlow, Reichenberg and Ringenwalde. The older story is the story of the three individual communities.

The three municipalities were part of the changes in 1990 to the circle Strausberg. They were in the course of education offices in Brandenburg attached to the Office Neuhardenberg on 16 July 1992. 1993 Kreis Bad Freiwalde, Circle Seelow and Strausberg became the new district or Mark- land formed from the former circles. The community remained so far under the administration of the Office Neuhardenberg.
