Matt Stajan

Matthew Stajan ( born December 19, 1983 in Mississauga, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since January 2010 the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Matt Stajan started his career with the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League, for whom he had a total of three years active from 2000 to 2003. During this time he was in the second round than a total of 57 players selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Once he even came to his debut in the National Hockey League Toronto at the end of the 2002/03 season, he was in the following season is already a regular in the NHL. During the lockout in the 2004/ 05 NHL season Stajan was exclusively for the former Toronto's farm team, the St. John 's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League, on the ice.

In the years 2005 to 2008, the attacker missed only two of the 246 regular season games.
