Michael Craig Nelms ( born April 8, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas ) is a former American professional American football and Canadian football player. He has played as a punt returner in the National Football League ( NFL ) for the Washington Redskins.

Playing career

Mike Nelms studied at the Sam Houston State University before he moved to Baylor University. Nelms played in the years 1975 and 1976 as a defensive back football for the local football team, the Baylor Bears.
