Mueang Kalasin District
Amphoe Mueang Kalasin ( in Thai: อำเภอ เมือง กาฬสินธุ์ ) District of the province of Kalasin. The Kalasin Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
The district is located about 520 kilometers north- east of Bangkok.
Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe the Sahatsakhan, Somdet, Na Mon, Don Chan, Kamalasai, Khong Chai, Yang Talat Nong Kung Si, and the province of Kalasin.
Management
Amphoe Mueang Kalasin is in 17 communes ( tambon) divided, further into 180 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also three small towns ( Tambon thesaban ):
- Nong Thus, from the whole tambon Lam Pao and parts of tambon Lamkhlong,
- Na Chan consists of the whole tambon Na Chan and parts of the tambon Phai Phu Po,
- Huai Pho consists of the same whole tambon.
There are also 16 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
