Na Mon District
Amphoe Na Mon ( Thai: อำเภอ นาม น ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Kalasin. The Kalasin Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
The neighboring districts are starting clockwise from the north-east: the Amphoe Huai Phung, Kuchinarai, Don Chan, Mueang Kalasin and Somdet. All Amphoe located in the province of Kalasin.
History
Na Mon was born on September 20, 1973 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the three Tambon Na Mon, Yot Kaeng and song Plueai Amphoe Mueang Kalasin were separated from. 1 January 1988, Na Mon has been promoted to Amphoe.
Education
In Amphoe Na Mon is the Rajabhat University Kalasin.
Management
Amphoe Na Mon is in five communities ( tambon) divided which in turn consist of 66 villages ( Muban ).
There are also three small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Na Mon ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาม น ) consists of parts of the tambon Na Mon,
- Song Plueai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล สง เปลือย ) consists of the whole tambon Song Plueai,
- Liam Lak ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หลัก เหลี่ยม ) consists of the whole tambon Lak Liam.
There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
