Nong Bua District

Amphoe Nong Bua ( Thai: อำเภอ หนองบัว ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the northeastern province of Nakhon Sawan. The Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Bang Mun Nak and the Dong Charoen Province Phichit, Amphoe Chon Daen and Amphoe Bueng Sam Phan Phetchabun province and the Phaisali Amphoe Tha Tako and Chum Saeng of Nakhon Sawan.

History

The district of Nong Bua was on 1 January 1948 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by some of the Chum Saeng Tambons, Tha Tako and Bang Mun Nak were separated from the province of Phichit. On June 6, 1956 Nong Bua received the full Amphoe status.

Education

In Amphoe Nong Bua is the Rajabhat University Kanchanaburi.

Management

Amphoe Kao Liao ( tambon) divided into nine municipalities, which in turn in 105 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Nong Bua ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนองบัว ) itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and covers parts of tambon Nong Bua Nong Klap.

In addition, there are nine " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
