There are the districts angel village, Count churches, Kager, Pemfling, Pitzling and Rhanwalting. With resolution of the municipality Rhanwalting on 1 January 1972, this district is shared with the neighboring communities Waffenbrunn and Cham.

History

From 1267 until the mid-15th century the local nobility of Pemflinger is detectable. Pemfling belonged to Rentamt Straubing and Cham district court of the Electorate of Bavaria. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. see also Postal Löwendorf, Postal Rackelsdorf

Incorporations

In 1946, the former municipality Kager was incorporated. On 1 January 1972 angel village and Pitzling as well as parts of the territory were added by Rhanwalting. Count churches followed on 1 May 1978.

Monuments

The oldest building in the village is the tithe barn, whose foundations date back to the Middle Ages. The demolition of the listed building and location formative was approved by the district office at the behest of the owners. The owner argued with unacceptable housing conditions and plans for it to create a new building.

Mayor is Franz Haberl (CSU ).

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 567 thousand in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted 49 T €.

Coat of arms

Blazon: On a silver shield head, in a blue edges Links bar, in red over a silver floating Andrew's cross, a silver zigzag bar. The emblem has been used since 1983.

Economy and infrastructure

Economy, agriculture and forestry

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in manufacturing and 173 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 21 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 720 in the manufacturing sector, there were none, in the construction of five plants. In addition, in 1999, there were 138 farms with an agricultural area of 2,395 ha, of which 1,305 hectares of arable land and 1,088 ha of permanent grassland.
