Philippe Boisse

Philippe Boisse ( born March 18, 1955) is a former French epee fencer. He won two gold medals at the Olympic Games. He is currently Vice- President of the French Fencing Federation.

Boisse already took part in the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976 at the sword competitions. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, he won the gold medal in the épée team. Four years later, at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he was with the team the result does not repeat, but still won still silver. In individual competition in Los Angeles, he was also able to win the Olympic gold medal.

In the World Fencing Championships 1985 World Champion Philippe Boisse what he had succeeded three years earlier at the World Fencing Championship in 1982 already with the team. The team title he could repeat at the World Fencing Championships 1983, 1987, he won team bronze medal.

The son of Philippe Boisse, Érik Boisse is also a successful fencer. Philippe Boisse is currently the Vice President of the French Fencing Federation.
