Aldo Nadi

Aldo Nadi ( born April 29, 1899 in Livorno, † November 11, 1965 in Los Angeles ) was an Italian fencer.

Aldo Nadi was the younger son of the fencing master Giuseppe Nadi. His older brother Nedo Nadi was one of the most successful fighter of all time.

Aldo Nadi won three gold medals and one silver medal at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. The gold medals he won in the team competitions epee, foil and saber in each case together with Nedo. The silver medal he won his brother's saber individual.

Nedo Nadi Aldo Nadi and are one of the most successful pairs of brothers in the history of the Olympic Games. In fencing only the Milan Dario Mangiarotti and Edoardo Mangiarotti stand on the same stage. Curiously, both sets of brothers were sons of a fencing master with the name Giuseppe.
