Erk Sens-Gorius

Erk Sens- Gorius ( born January 25, 1946 in Hannover ) is a former German fencer who was awarded the Foil Olympic champion.

1969 and 1971 was Erk Sens- Gorius second in the German Championship in foil fencing. He took in 1969, 1970, 1971 and 1975 at the World Fencing Championships in part. In the 1972 Olympics he was a member of the German team which was eliminated in the quarterfinals and ultimately was ranked 5.

At the start of the 1976 season changed Erk Sens- Gorius to Tauberbischofsheim to coach Emil Beck. By winning the tournament for the Lion of Bonn, he qualified as a last fencer for the 1976 Olympics in Montreal. The team, in the case of non Klaus Reichert OFC Bonn only fencers were from FC Tauberbischofsheim, won Olympic gold for the team of Italy.
