Pizzo, Calabria

Pizzo is an Italian commune in the province of Vibo Valentia in the Calabria region with 8982 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Pizzo is located in the southern part of the Gulf of Sant ' Eufemia in 44 m slm on a steep cliff mountains. The place is a tourist resort and fishing center, particularly of tuna.

History
