Pošná

Pošná ( German Poschna ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers southeast of Pacov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Pošná located in the southwest of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands on the slopes Vrších above the valleys of the streams and creek Novodvorsky Kejrovský creek. To the north rises the Vrších ( 586 m), in the southeast V Čihadle (616 m ) south of the Proseč (615 m) and west of the Ve Vrších ( 589 m).

Neighboring towns are Roučkovice and Samšín in the north, Přáslavice, Houskův Mlýn and Útěchovice in the northeast, Zahrádka and Litohošť in the east, Leskovice and Nesvačily the southeast, Proseč, Nizka Lhota and Novy Dvur in the south, Dul and Dolský Mlýn in the southwest, Propad and Cetoraz in west and Vejvarka, Pacov, Kuňovka and Nová Ves in the northwest.

History

Pošná the village was first mentioned in the year 1369th belonged to the middle of the 19th century and the reign Proseč Pošná.

After the abolition of patrimonial Pošná / Poschna formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Pelhřimov. Between 1877 and 1890 Pošná was united with Proseč and Nesvačily to the municipality Proseč - Pošná. Since the end of the 19th century, the local name is used Pošná. In 1947 the village was assigned to the Okres Pacov. Since its cancellation in 1961 Pošná heard again Okres Pelhřimov. At the same time the community Proseč u Pošné including Nesvačily to the hamlet of Pošná was. Zahrádka was incorporated in 1980, which was previously a district of Útěchovičky. In the same year the change of name of the local part Proseč u Pošné in Proseč was.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Pošná Nesvačily ( Neslatschil ) Pošná ( Poschna ) Proseč ( Prosetsch ) and Zahrádka ( Sachradka ) and the monolayer Na Pazdernách.

Attractions

  • Baroque castle Proseč that built from a Renaissance festivals with two side roundels in the 18th century building now serves as senior citizens residence.
  • Church of Sts. Bartholomew in Pošná, which was built in the second half of the 13th century baroque church was remodeled in 1680. Inside Gothic wall paintings have survived from the 14th century
