Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão

The Prêmio Craque do Brasileirão ( approximately price for the aces of the Brazilian Championship German ) is an event to be awarded since 2005 in partnership between the Brazilian Football Federation and the television channel Rede Globo in each year to outstanding personalities of Brazilian football prices. The most coveted individual price is the best player. The distinction here is comparable to that of a football player of the year, but, as such, in competition since 1973, awarded by the journal Placar Bola de Ouro.

Prices are available in different categories and the prize giving will take place on the Monday after the final day of the Série A. On this occasion the championship trophy will be officially handed over. Other individual awards in addition to the best player will receive the top scorer of the season, the best coach and the best referee. In addition, outstanding achievements in the past will be honored in the form of a tribute. 2006 player of the year, with additional option was introduced by fans over the Internet.
