Proseč (Pelhřimov District)

Proseč ( German Prosetsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north of Humpolec and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Proseč located in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands.

Neighboring towns are Staré Hutě Dobra Voda and Lipnická in the north, Záběhlice in the northeast, Řečice in the east, Pusté Lhotsko and Budíkov the southeast, Světlice and Horni Rapotice in the south, Haj in the southwest and Kaliště and Podivice in the West.

History

The first mention of Proseč as the seat of the brothers Ondřej, Hroch and Beneš of Proseč was 1391st The festivals were already at the time of connection of the goods to the rule Lipnice nad Sázavou in the second half of the 15th century desolate.
