The Rawlins Township is one of 23 townships in Jo Daviess County in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Rawlins Township is located in northwestern Illinois. The eastern boundary of the Township is formed from the Galena River. The border with Iowa, which is formed from the Mississippi River, is located less than 1 km west of the southwest lobe of Rawlins Township.

The Rawlins Township is located at 42 ° 26'45 " north latitude and 90 ° 26'32 " west longitude and extending over 30.41 km ².

The Rawlins Township borders Jo Daviess within the County in the north to the Vinegar Hill Township, on the northeast by the Council Hill Township, on the east by the East Galena Township, on the south by West Galena Township and on the west by the Menominee Township.
