Řečice (Pelhřimov District)

Řečice ( German Retschitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north of Humpolec and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Řečice located in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands.

Neighboring towns are Bystrá and Dolni Mesto neighborhood in the north, Lipnice nad Sázavou in the northeast, Kejžlice the southeast, Maly Budíkov and Budíkov in the south, Pusté Lhotsko the southwest, Proseč in the west and Záběhlice and Velké Křepiny in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Řečice was 1307.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Řečice Bystrá ( Bistra ), Křepiny ( Kschepin ) Řečice ( Retschitz ) and Záběhlice ( Sabiechlitz ) and the local documents Malé Křepiny (small Kschepin ) and Velké Křepiny ( United Kschepin ).
