Riccardo Zoidl

Riccardo Zoidl ( born April 8, 1988 in Linz) is an Austrian road racing cyclist.

Career

Riccardo Zoidl began his career in 2007 at the Austrian Continental team RC ARBÖ Resch & Frisch Gourmetfein catfish. In 2009 he took part in the U23 road race in the world championship, but that he could not finish. In the 2010 season Zoidl was, among other things seventh overall in the Tour de Berlin and ninth in Thuringia Tour. In 2011 he won the Giro di Festina swan city and the Tobago Cycling Classic, and the team time trial and a further stage in Sibiu Cycling Tour. He also finished second in the road race in the Austrian Championship behind the winner Matthias Krizek.

2012 Zoidl won the Austrian Championship title in the time trial and won the overall title of Tchibo Top Rad league. At the World Cup 2012 in the Dutch province of Limburg he reached the individual time trial on the 14th place overall, at the same time this was, in this special discipline, the best performance of an Austrian at a World Cup.

In 2013 he won the International Race Circuit des Ardennes and Tour de Bretagne, also he was Austrian Champion in the road race and on the mountain. He also won the Tour of Upper Austria and the Tour of Austria. Then he led at the first Austrian, the evaluation of the UCI Europe Tour 2013, which he also won conclusively. In 2014, he rides for the Belgian- American Team Trek.
