Rick Pagnutti

Rick Pagnutti ( born November 14, 1946 in Sudbury, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Career

Pagnutti played on the position of the defense and was selected as part of the NHL Amateur Draft 1967 in the first round in the first position of the Los Angeles Kings. Previously he had played for a junior team in the Canadian Garson, Ontario. However, the Canadians never played a game in the National Hockey League, but spent his ten professional years in the North American minor leagues. He played in the American Hockey League with the Springfield Kings and Rochester Americans and the International Hockey League with the Fort Wayne Komets, where he was awarded after the end of the 1971/72 season with the Governor's Trophy as the best defender in the league. Other leagues in which played Pagnutti were the Western Hockey League, Central Hockey League and North American Hockey League. After the season 1976/77 he finished his career.
