Robert M. Anderson

Robert Moon Anderson (* December 10, 1824, † September 17, 1878 ) was an American politician. Between 1856 and 1858 he was Deputy Governor of the State of California.

The source location on Robert Anderson is very bad. Neither his birth nor his place of death have survived. It is certain that he lived in the 1850s in California and a member of the American Party was. In 1851 he was elected to the side of John Neely Johnson as Lieutenant Governor of California. This post he held 1856-1858. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor lose track of him again. In the sources is only reported that he died on 17 September 1878.
