Romano Lemm

Romano Lemm ( born June 25, 1984 in Dielsdorf ) is a Swiss ice hockey player standing since 2010 with the Kloten Flyers in the National League A under contract.

Career

Romano Lemm began his career as a hockey player with the Kloten Flyers of the National League A, for which he had already played in youth. Once the attacker had been in the 2000 /01 season his professional debut in the National League B for the HC Thurgau, Lemm was the first time in the playoffs of the season 2001/ 02 for the Kloten Flyers on the ice. After eight years with the Flyers Lemm signed in the summer of 2008, a contract with their league rivals HC Lugano, with which he in the playoffs of the 2008/09 season in the quarterfinals at the eventual champions HC Davos in the best- of-seven series with 3:4 failed. For the 2010/11 season Lemm returned to the Kloten Flyers. He signed a contract with his original club for four years.

In October 2011 it was announced that Lemm has a benign brain tumor and had to be nervous a few days later undergoing surgery. On November 2, 2012 after more than a year's break, Lemm played his first game back with the Flyers.

Internationally

For Switzerland Lemm took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2001 and 2002, the U20 Junior World Championship in 2003, and the A World Championships in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 in part. Furthermore, Lemm was in the squad of Switzerland at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and Vancouver 2010.
