Ronco all'Adige

Ronco all'Adige is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6166 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region. The community is located about 22 kilometers southeast of Verona on the Adige (Italian Adige).

History

With the destruction of a village in the municipal area of ​​the present town of Ronco 589 was founded. Ronco was the headquarters of the Sambonifacio family that was in the Dark Ages of some importance for the Verona area. A renewed destruction befell the community, as in 1117, the earth shook.

Economy

The community lives through the cultivation of apples and pears and asparagus.
