Sedini

Sedini ( Sardinian: Sèddini ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1352 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Sassari in Sardinia. The municipality is situated approximately 34 km east-northeast of Sassari. To the Mediterranean there are about nine kilometers to the north. In the municipality the Grotta di Conchi is.

History

The historic Sedini called Setini or Setin with the meaning of a refuge. In the center is still a Domus de Janas obtained, probably due to a necropolis dating from the period between the 4th and 3rd millennium BC.

Through the community, the Strada Statale 134 di Castel Sardo leads Laerru to Castelsardo.
