Seneghe

Seneghe is a municipality in the province of Oristano in the region of Sardinia in Italy with 1822 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). The community is located 25 km north of the provincial capital of Oristano.

The neighboring municipalities are Bonarcado Cuglieri, Milis, Narbolia, San Vero Milis, Santu Lussurgiu.

The name of the place is old. Even in the days of the Phoenicians and the Romans lived people here. The place is dominated by agriculture, 35 % of the population worked in the sheep and cattle.

At the village lies the Protonuraghe Seneghe.
