Busachi

The village Busachi is located in the province of Oristano, in Sardinia in the historic area of Barigadu. The municipality has 1355 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) and an area of ​​59.31 square kilometers.

Busachi is through the Via Sassari Brigade ( SS388 ) bipartite village on a slope. It lies 380 m above sea level. The houses of the winding streets are made of red trachyte. The environment of the place is covered with a dense cork.

With great emphasis the older inhabitants wearing their colorful costumes. The traditional costumes and their preparation are also discussed in the Museo del Costume e del Uno ( Museum ) as the production of woven fabrics.

Nearby, the former Roman town Forum Traiani is (now Fordongianus ) with its thermal baths Romana and the Domus de Janas of Grugos.
