Spessart, Rhineland-Palatinate

Spessart is a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Brohltal, which has its administrative headquarters in Niederzissen.

Geography

In the district Hannebach the Brohlbach springs. From here it flows through the Brohltal and flows Brohl- Lützing into the Rhine. In the former quarry " Hannebacher Ley " the rare mineral is found Hannebachit.

The municipality consists of the villages and hamlets Spessart, Hanne Bach, Wollenberg and Heulingshof.
