Staffhorst located near the natural park Geest and the Natural Park Steinhude approximately midway between Siedenburg, Asendorf, Wietzen and Borstel near Sulingen. The community belongs to the Samtgemeinde Siedenburg, which has its administrative headquarters in the spots Siedenburg.
