Swimming at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay
The relay competition about 4 times 200 meters freestyle men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 31 July 2012 at the London Aquatics Centre. 16 squadrons with a total of 84 athletes took part.
There were two heats. The fastest eight squadrons heats qualified for the final, which was held on the same day.

With this medal winning Michael Phelps became the most successful Olympian of all time. He surpassed his record 19th medal of the Soviet gymnast Larissa Latynina. The bronze medal is the first medal in a relay competition of men for China.
