Tennis at the 1908 Summer Olympics

In the IV Olympic Games 1908 in London six tennis competitions were held, divided into three competitions in the hall and three contests on grass.

The hall competitions were held in the first half of May at the Queen 's Club. The event joined directly to the British Championships, which were played in the same hall. However, few participants were reported.

The lawn competitions had originally intended to take place at White City Stadium, but the grass was too uneven, which is why you evaded on the grounds of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Wimbledon. The Olympic lawn tennis competitions were held in the first half of July, immediately after the Wimbledon Championships. 31 players from nine countries took part in this tournament. Played was on three winning sets each.
