Thomas Dähne (born 4 January 1994 Oberaudorf ) is a German football goalkeeper. He plays in the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Career
Youth
Dähne began at FV Oberaudorf with football, where, among other things, Bastian Schweinsteiger began his career. Then he moved to the youth department of TSV 1860 Rosenheim before to Austria, he moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg in 2007. There he went through to 2010, all youth teams before he was brought to the second team, the Juniors. After two seasons in the juniors, he rose in the summer of 2012 to the third goalkeeper of the first team and was the same as cooperation player number one in the box of FC Liefering, the satellite club of the Mozart city dwellers. With FC Liefering he became a master of the Regionalliga West, bringing the team's play-off for promotion to the second highest Austrian league, the first league plays. The opponent in the play-off decides on 31 May between FC Traun and LASK Linz.
FC Red Bull Salzburg
On May 26, 2013 due to injuries from Alexander Walke and Eddie Gustafsson made his debut in the Bundesliga for FC Red Bull Salzburg. In the final championship game, he stood over the full distance against the newly minted champions FK Austria Wien on the court. The game was won 3-0.
National
Internationally, he has played for the German U-16, U -17, U -18, U -19 and U-20 national team and also participated in the U-17 World Cup 2011 in Mexico, but came to be a substitute goalkeeper no use, as Germany won third place. His first game for a German youth team he was against Austria on 16 August 2009 at the Rhine Park Stadium Vaduz in Liechtenstein. The game against later among other internationals such as Marcel Sabitzer was won 6:2. For the U-20 national team, he was the first time ( with Italy, Poland and Switzerland ) used as part of an "international round ". In the 2-0 win over Poland in the selection Pfullendorf he came to the second half for Patrick Rakovsky into play.
