Tim Huelskamp

Timothy Alan " Tim " Huelskamp ( born November 11, 1968 in Fowler, Meade County, Kansas) is an American politician. Since 2011 he represents the state of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Tim Huelskamp visited until 1991, the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. Then he studied until 1995 at the American University in Washington DC In the meantime, he worked as a farmer and teacher. He also worked as a budget analyst for the state of New Mexico. Later he returned to Kansas. Politically, he joined the Republican Party. Between 1996 and 2010 he was a member of the Senate of Kansas. There he was a member of five committees, including the committees on education and agriculture. From the Tax Committee, he was forced to resign after quarrels with the reject line.

In the congressional elections of 2010 Huelskamp was elected in the first district of Kansas in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, where he became the successor of the exchanged in the U.S. Senate Jerry Moran on January 3, 2011. He sits on the Agriculture Committee, the Budget Committee and the Veterans Committee and three subcommittees. Within the party he is a member of the Republican Study Committee and the Tea Party movement related Tea Party Caucus. In 2012, he applied unopposed for another term. He is married and has four adopted daughters.
