Vorderhornbach (as of 1 January 2013 ) is a village and a municipality with 256 inhabitants in the district of Reutte, Tyrol ( Austria ).

Geography

Vorderhornbach is located on the 970 m above sea level. A. in the Lech Valley, at the entrance of Hornbachtals, on the alluvial fan of Hornbach. The village is located just off the main traffic route. Of importance is agriculture, next to Vorderhornbach is a commuter community.

History

1218, the village was first mentioned. Vorderhornbach was from time immemorial the parish Wängle assumed ( chaplaincy from 1675 Expositur 1756 ). By belonging to the court Aschau (now Lechaschau, left bank of the Lech to Musau ) made ​​Vorderhornbach another development through than the other communities in the Lech Valley. Historically, the place is also called Hornbach in Aschau. It belonged to the bar in Reutte.
