Willi Pürstl

Willi Pürstl (born 10 January 1955 in Schoder, Styria ) is a former Austrian ski jumper

Willi Pürstl was winning the championship in the 23 Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 with the victory in Oberstdorf. He pulls itself as a second Austrian, twenty years after Sepp Bradl, the overall rating of the jumping tournament. With this tour victory, he became the protagonist of the successful Austrian ski jumping team of the 1970s, which spawned even athletes like Anton Innauer, Karl Schnabl, Alois Lipburger, Edi Federer, Hans Millonig, Hans Wallner, Alfred Pungg, Rupert Gürtler and Walter Schwabl under coach Baldur Preiml.
