Zlátenka

Zlatenka ( German Zlatenka, also Slatenka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers south-east of Pacov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Zlatenka located in the southwest of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is situated on the southwestern slope of the hill Zlatenka ( 645 m) in the source dump of a small brook. To the south rises the Peklo ( 649 m). Passing through the municipality, the state road 19 between Pelhřimov and Chýnovská.

Neighboring towns are Proseč and Nesvačily in the north, Leskovice in the northeast, Němkovičky and Nová Cerekev in the east, Moraveč the southeast, Peklůvko, Na Peklově, Žlíbek, Lidmaňka and Lidmaň in the south, Dobra Voda u Pacova and Vysoká Lhota in the southwest, Kámen in the west and Černý Mlýn and Novy Dvur in the northwest.

History

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1362 as Zlatná Lhota. The name derives from a gold deposit, east of town, a mine was operated. Until 1614 Zlatenka belonged to the rule Kamenitz and was then humbly after Pacov. School location was initially Pošná and from 1835 Kámen. Gepfarrt was Zlatenka always Pošná.

After the abolition of patrimonial Zlatenka formed in 1850 a district of the municipality Vysoká Lhota - Zlatenka in the District Commission Pelhřimov and 1855-1868 in the District Commission Pacov. 1869 Zlatenka came back to the district Pelhřimov. 1921 was the community Zlatenka. In 1948 the village was assigned to the Okres Pacov. Since its repeal in 1961 the place again belongs to Okres Pelhřimov. In the same year the town name was changed to Zlatenka. In 1975 the annexation to Kámen. Since 1990, the community is Zlatenka again.
