Zola Predosa

Zola Predosa is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 18,392 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Bologna in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 11 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Bologna.

Transport and the economy

Through the municipal area leads the Autostrada A1. However, a connection point to the location does not exist. The former State Road 569 has now been downgraded to a county road. A breakpoint on the electrified railway line from Casalecchio Vignola granted access to the rail network. Zola Predosa has become as an industrial center in the metalworking industry, as a supplier of vehicles known.

Community partnership

Zola Predosa maintains a partnership with the Swedish municipality in the province Timrå Västernorrland County.
