Zou Kai

Zou Kai (Chinese邹 凯, Pinyin Zou Kǎi; born February 25, 1988 in Luzhou, Sichuan ) is a Chinese gymnast.

Zou has specialized as an athlete on the gymnastics, but is particularly well known for his successes in the floor exercise. He won several national and international competitions in gymnastics in recent years. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he won the gold medal in floor exercise and high bar in the individual competitions and team gold with the Chinese team. Thus, it is the second Chinese (Li Ning achieved this for the first time in 1984 ), who won three gold medals at one Olympic tournament. At the World Championships he won in 2006, 2007 and 2011 Gold in the team all-around. In the bottom -finals in 2009 and 2011, it was enough for silver, on the high bar for 2011 gold. 2012 followed at the Summer Olympic Games in London a renewed success him team all-around and on floor and bronze on high bar. With two gold and one bronze, he was the most successful male gymnast at the games.
