1998 World Series

The World Series 1998 was the 94th edition of the Finals of the Major League Baseball between the champion of the American League, the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres, the champion of the National League. The Yankees won the series with a 4-0 sweep and were able to celebrate the 24th title in its history.

The series started on 17 October 1998 and ended on 21 October 1998. As MVP of the World Series Scott Brosius was excellent.
