2001–02 Scottish League Cup

The Scottish League Cup was played in 2001/ 02 for the 56th time. The Scottish League Cup, which was officially discharged as CIS Insurance League Cup, began on September 2, 2001 and ended with the final on 17 March 2002. Competition on the clubs in the Scottish Football League and Scottish Premier League participated. If a duel is not decided after 90 minutes plus extension, it came to the penalty shootout. The title of the Glasgow Rangers secured the final against second division side Ayr United.
